Where?

The city of Hamburg has an over three century old history of open cultural spaces. Pioneers like the Westwerk have created a strong base for a brave and collaborative culture in Hamburg. There are many other young cultural initiatives like the Billekraftwerk in Hammerbrook that stem from a similar approach and will power like their pioneers. The Host for Space and Hustlin II is the Hamburger Gängeviertel.

The activities in those spaces are based on strong social values. A collaborative work environment, the decommercialisation and social openness are part of a future, which rests upon sustainability and social justice. The named stakeholders know that their brave examples and this open collaboration create activties that can improve existing structures.
